Boeing 787 Dreamliner testing Lubbock winds

Posted: Updated:
LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Thursday's high winds may have been rough for Lubbock residents but provided favorable conditions for a Boeing 787 900 Series to test its wings.

The plane stayed overnight at the Lubbock airport after a long day of "touch and goes."

The plane was flown down from Boeing's headquarters in Everett, Washington.

Pilot Mike Bryan says everything went accordingly and the plane is now being flown back to Washington.

Annie Taylor will have more information on the technically advanced jet on KCBD NewsChannel 11 at 4.
