Red Raider baseball struggles continue on Friday

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Opening up their fourth Big 12 series, the 25th-ranked Red Raiders lost to No. 20 Oklahoma State 3-1.

The Red Raiders are now 0-4 in Big 12 series openers, losing the first game on Fridays this season.

The Red Raiders' lone run was an Eric Gutierrez home run. Tech had five hits as they dropped to 23-10 and 4-6 in the Big 12.

Tech has fared better on Saturdays. They'll get another crack at the Cowboys on Saturday. Oklahoma State moves to 21-9.
