LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The investigation continues into a suspected illegal gambling operation in Central Lubbock.

Police arrested the owner of Paradise Game Room at 50th and University on Tuesday afternoon.

He is now charged with illegal gambling and money laundering.

Investigators took circuit boards from several gaming machines and removed a trailer from the property.

They tell us other arrests and charges are possible.

And this isn't the first time authorities have searched this location.

Back in 2012, the sheriff's office raided several game rooms after receiving tips about illegal payouts involving eight liner machines.

Texas businesses are allowed to have the machines, but they are not allowed to award cash.
