LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

An elderly man from El Paso was indicted in Lubbock on Tuesday, after officers found more than 80 pounds of marijuana in his vehicle.

76-year-old Michael Davis is charged with delivery of marijuana and money laundering.

Police say Davis was driving from El Paso last month when he was pulled over in Lubbock during a routine traffic stop.

That's when police say the officers found the drugs, and $2,700 in cash inside his vehicle.

Davis remains behind bars Tuesday night in the Lubbock County Detention Center.
