The Lubbock County Sheriff's Office is questioning four people in what they are now calling the suspicious death of a 6-month old baby boy.
Deputies took the infant's parents and two other people in for questioning, but Sheriff's Office representative Lt. Bryan Taylor said these people are not considered suspects or persons of interest at this time.
First responders were called out to a home on CR 7245 around 3:45 p.m. on Thursday afternoon. The boy's father called 911, but the child was dead when EMS arrived.
"We are investigating this as a death investigation of a suspicious nature," Taylor said.
Taylor said the medical examiner will need to determine the exact cause of death, and he expects to have those results on Friday.
