Texas Tech's annual spring football game is a tradition at Tech that signals the unofficial start of the season. It gives fans a free, up close and personal preview of the new recruits and the entire team.
The game is Saturday at 11 a.m. in Jones AT&T Stadium.
There is also a unique addition to the event this year. Officials will open the stadium to the public at 8 a.m. to physically check out all of the open seats for the upcoming season. It's a real chance to literally hand pick your season tickets.
Consider this:
Bring your family to the Texas Tech Spring Game Saturday at 11 a.m.
With a little luck, the weather will be nice and the 2014 Red Raiders will be hot.
