Lubbock Fire Marshal investigating early morning house fire

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The Lubbock Fire Marshal's Office is working to determine the cause of an early morning fire.

Fire crews were called out to a home in the 2800 block of Emory just before 3 a.m. Friday morning.

Officials say the fire occurred in a small white guest house behind the property.

The home was empty at the time of the fire.

Firefighters were able to put out the fire quickly but had some issues with power lines that had fallen to the ground.
