Texas Tech received its ninth consecutive national ranking on Monday while moving up in a pair of national polls with a No. 24 ranking in the USA Today Coaches' poll and at No. 25 in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.

The Red Raiders (28-11, 8-7 Big 12) are coming off a 4-0 record last week with a win over Abilene Christian in the midweek and sweeping a three-game series from Kansas State.

Tech moved back into the USA Today Top-25 Coaches' poll at No. 24 while dropping out of the poll last week after four straight rankings in the poll. Tech's highest ranking in the Coaches' poll came at No. 23 on Mar. 10.

The Red Raiders are among the nation's top 30 teams for the ninth straight week according to the NCBWA while checking in at No. 25, up five spots from last week. Texas Tech has occupied every spot in the poll from No. 25-30 during the regular season.

Tech has been ranked every week of the regular season (Feb. 17-Apr. 14) in the NCBWA poll with its highest ranking at No. 25, which they have occupied twice this season. Tech's highest national ranking in any national poll this season came at No. 23 in the USA Today Coaches' poll.

Texas Tech will complete its eight-game homestand this week with a midweek contest against Dallas Baptist on Tuesday, Apr. 15 at 2 p.m. and with a three-game non-conference series, Apr. 17-19, against Prairie View A&M at Rip Griffin Park.
