Crosbyton man killed in Midland I-20 wreck Thursday

MIDLAND, TX (KCBD) -

One man is dead after a one vehicle accident in Midland.

Midland police say Robert Elvis Walters of Crosbyton was driving an oil field truck on Interstate 20 around 4:20 p.m. Thursday afternoon when the right tire of the truck blew out.

The blowout caused the truck to roll onto its side.

Walters was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
