LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The family of a Lubbock man who was killed in an accident on CR 1200 Saturday morning has set up a fund to help with his funeral arrangements.

59-year-old Alfredo Arriaga was in his Ford pickup on his way to work when troopers say he overcorrected and lost control, driving into a bar ditch and flipping the vehicle multiple times.

DPS says Arriaga was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle during the crash.

The investigation is still in progress but DPS says speed was a factor during this accident.

If you would like to donate to the fund, you can donate at any Aim Bank location under the Arriaga Fund.
