Vehicle crashes into utility pole at 10th & MLK

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

We've got an early report of a wreck on MLK and 10th Street that has injured one person and may have disrupted electric service in the area.

Our photographer on the scene says a driver was headed south on MLK when she lost control of the vehicle and came across oncoming traffic.

She hit a utility pole and a junction box before coming to a stop in front of the church.

The driver suffered moderate injuries.

We'll continue to update this story as details are confirmed.
