Fatal crash reported in Trousdale County

HARTSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A fatal crash involving multiple vehicles Friday evening closed both directions of Highway 231 in Trousdale County.

The crash was reported just before 5:30 p.m. between Bass and Templow roads east of Bethpage.

Further details on the number of vehicles or people involved hasn't been released by the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

Highway 231 reopened about 7 p.m.
