A woman is recovering physically after a car crash on a Nashville interstate last month, but emotionally she's still struggling.
Kamary Gregory's car hydroplaned on Interstate 440, leaving her trapped behind the wheel near the Murfreesboro exit.
As a good Samaritan was pulling her from the car, the situation got even worse, as Gregory's 3-pound Yorkie, who had been riding in the back seat, got scared and jumped out of an open door.
As much as Gregory wanted to stay at the scene and look for the dog, named Chloe, emergency crews gave her no choice but to go to the hospital.
Chloe has not been seen since.
It may seem like a long shot, but Gregory is hoping someone found Chloe and turned her in. Perhaps that person will see this story and help reunite the two.
Gregory's car was totaled in the accident, and she has a pile of medical bills to deal with. But, she says all of that would be easier to manage if she could just get her dog back.
She's asking people to send her a message on Facebook if they see her Yorkie. You can contact her by visiting: https://www.facebook.com/kamary.gregory?fref=ts.
