TTUHSC and students host fourth annual Raiderthon

The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and Tech students hosted the fourth annual Raiderthon, which benefits the Children's Miracle Network.

Raiderthon is an eight hour dance-a-thon that started early Saturday afternoon.

Last year, they raised $37,000, and this year, their goal is to raise $50,000.

There are numerous ways to donate to the event. Text to donate is set up for those who wish to give $5 by texting ‘dance' to 27722, or by visiting the Raiderthon website at www.raiderthon.org.

Donations to Children's Miracle Network are used to provide charitable care, purchase life-saving equipment and fund research and education programs that save and improve the lives of 17 million children each year.

For more information or to donate to the event, visitwww.raiderthon.org.
