EAST TEXAS (KLTV) -
A Whitehouse woman is in jail after officials say she disappeared Monday with her infant. Child Protective Services recently granted the woman temporary custody of the child.
The Department of Family and Protective Services told KLTV on Monday that Kimberli Tennison, 26, and her 2-month-old son Michael disappeared after the department took temporary custody of the child on April 23. Officials were concerned about drug use by Tennison.
CPS says Tennison was arrested Monday night. Her son, Michael, was not with her. Officials were able to find where Tennison left Michael. He is now at a foster home.
