Jury Selection Begins In Lubbock Murder Trial - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Jury selection began Monday for a Lubbock man accused of murdering his girlfriend.

27-year-old Robert Hudson is accused of killing 18-year-old Leigh Rumbaugh in December of last year. You may recall, Rumbaugh's death was first thought to be a suicide. Hudson called police and told them Rumbaugh had shot herself. But, due to inconsistencies in his story to police, officers later ruled her death a homicide.

If convicted Hudson faces up to life in prison.
