A Plainview man is back behind bars, after a second high speed chase with Lubbock Police in three days.
Victor Hastey now faces multiple charges including attempted capital murder, assault with a deadly weapon, and assaulting a police officer.
Officers used a taser gun to subdue Hastey on Saturday after officers say he stole a car and led them on a short chase that ended at 17th and Avenue M.
On Thursday, Hastey was the passenger in a high-speed chase that started in New Deal and ended at I-27 and U.S. Highway 84.
The driver in that chase, Jarret Austin, is also behind bars.
