EUCLID, OH (WOIO) -

A terrible one-car crash happened late Sunday, May 4 in Euclid, believed to involve two people. Euclid firefighters had to use the Jaws of Life to free the trapped victims from the car. The accident happened right around 4:30 south of Tungsten. The car was severely damaged. 

It took firefighters 20 minutes to free the driver and the passenger trapped inside. They've been transported to the trauma center at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights.

High speed may have been a factor. The exact cause remains under investigation.
