SOUTH EUCLID, OH (WOIO) -

A kind-hearted Lieutenant with the South Euclid Police Department is credited with saving the life of a baby racoon.

Lt. Wilson rescued the animal from a Green Road residence where it repeatedly wandered into the roadway.

Just another animal rescue to add onto the lieutenant's resume!

19 Action News has learned Lt. Wilson assisted a Great Horned Owl caught in a soccer net at Quarry Park two years ago, and a deer whose antlers became stuck in a volleyball net in 2010.
