MINERAL WELLS, TX (KCBD) -

Already leading their TAPPS Regional Final series one game to none, the Lubbock Christian baseball team closed it out Tuesday evening in Mineral Wells, blanking Ovilla Christian 4-0.

The Eagles will be soaring to the TAPPS State Tournament in Waco, playing a State Semifinal game at 4 p.m. on Friday.

James Hardberger got the win, shutting out the team from Red Oak, Texas. Ricky Contreras recorded the save.

Earlier in the day, the Lubbock Christian Softball team beat Frisco Legacy 10-4, so the Lady Eagles are also going to the TAPPS State Tournament.

They'll play a State Semifinal game Friday at 9 a.m.
