LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

A Lubbock grand jury found enough evidence to send 18-year-old Paul Anthony Rodriguez to trial on Tuesday.

The 18-year-old is charged with two counts of aggravated robbery following February's brutal attack at a South Lubbock Dairy Queen.

Police believe Rodriguez is the man shown in this surveillance footage from the Dairy Queen on 69th and University.

They say he severely beat 35-year-old Jesse Rios outside the restaurant before entering the store and hitting a female employee.

Rodriguez remains in jail tonight.

He was also indicted for holding up the Whataburger at 50th and Utica at gunpoint in March.
