A truck driver suffered minor injuries in a wreck on I-27 Wednesday evening.
DPS says a winch truck was headed northbound and had a blowout on top of the overpass at FM 1729. This caused the truck to go through the guardrail and slide down the embankment onto the service road.
The driver of the truck was transported to UMC with minor injuries.
They tell us a passenger car, also northbound on the interstate, hit the guardrail trying to avoid the truck. No one in the car was injured.
