Man arrested after allegedly shooting at girlfriend's car in Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

The man who police say shot at his girlfriend's car in the middle of packed parking lot in Clarksville has been arrested.

The incident happened just before 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Walmart on Madison Street.

Police say 44-year-old Kevin Rozelle followed his girlfriend through the parking lot and then fired a shot through her car's back window.

No one was injured in the incident.

In a statement, a Walmart spokeswoman said:

"The safety of our customers and associates is a top priority. We believe this was an isolated event, and we are glad that nobody was injured. We will continue to work with law enforcement to assist in their investigation."

Police say Rozelle was arrested in Robertson County just before 2 a.m. Thursday and was taken to the Montgomery County Jail. He will be facing a charge of criminal attempted homicide.
