LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The LISD School Board introduced Seth Parr as the next football Coach of the Coronado Mustangs Tuesday morning.

Parr turned the Caprock Longhorns pigskin program around, going 35-37 in his seven seasons there. He guided the Longhorns to the first playoff bid in 35 years in 2010. He also led Caprock to the playoffs in 2011 and his offense averaged 526 yards a game.

Parr will take over for Kent Jackson, who left Coronado after three years to return to his home town to coach Seminole.
