Red Raiders complete sweep of West Virginia

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Texas Tech didn't need any late-inning magic to dispatch West Virginia on Saturday, winning 4-0, to complete the three-game sweep.

Freshman Dylan Dusk was excellent in picking up the win, throwing 6 and 2/3 innings of shut-out baseball. The bullpen did the rest as Texas Tech swept its third straight Big 12 series at home.

The home dominance for the Red Raiders was a trend all season. Texas Tech finishes the regular season with an incredible 31-4 record at Dan Law Field. Overall, Texas Tech clinched a 40-win season, standing at 40-16 overall and 14-10 in Big 12 play.

Next for Texas Tech is the Big 12 tournament. The Red Raiders will play Texas in the opening round, Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in Oklahoma City.
