Six taken to hospital after car crashes into house

Six people were taken to UMC after a car crashed into a house on 82nd St. at 11 a.m. on Sunday morning.

The car's driver and passenger were engaged in an argument when the driver lost control of the vehicle, striking a home on the 1100 block of 82nd St.

The crash injured four people inside the house, as well as both the driver and passenger.

All six were transported to UMC with non-life threatening injuries.

    A 39 year old man is in critical condition after being hit by a car, in the 2100 block of Urbana Place, around 11:00 p.m. Tuesday. Lubbock police say the man was walking in the street when a car, traveling north, hit him. Police are interviewing the driver of the car, who remained at the scene. There is no word if she will face charges.
