SPC President Retires, Vice President Takes Over

South Plains College is making changes at the top. On Thursday, Dr. Gary D. McDaniel, president of the college, announced his plans to retire.

His retirement is effective February 1st of 2005. In his ten years at SPC, McDaniel has seen record enrollment, and new partnerships with Texas Tech University and LISD.

Dr. Kelvin Sharp, the SPC Vice-President of Academic Affairs will take over as president in February 2005.
