East Lubbock Schools Honor Veterans

Here on the South Plains, students paid tribute to Veterans on Thursday.

Iles Elementary began their day with the Pledge of Allegiance to the country, and then, paid allegiance to area Veterans.

Estacado High School's Junior ROTC also took part in the flag ceremony.
