LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

A Lubbock man arrested late last month following a deadly shooting in east Lubbock will go to trial.

Leroy Mitchell, 56, was indicted for murder on Tuesday afternoon.

Lubbock police say Mitchell shot and killed 42-year-old Victor Hopkins near a home at East 26th Street and Ivory on April 23.
