Police in the Dallas, Fort Worth-area continue searching for the remaining members of a bank robbery ring that led officers on a chase last week.
The suspects fired automatic weapons at police during the chase that began after a bank robbery. Friday, officers involved in the chase spoke about the ordeal.
"It was one of those things if it'd been one second here, one second there, i wouldn't be here right now."
"I was thinking we are the only ones who can stop them before some innocent person gets killed. If we don't remain calm and catch these guys, this will end real bad," Richardson Police officers said.
One officer was slightly injured in the accident. One of the suspects, Guadalupe Fajardo, turned himself into Slaton Police a few days after the robbery.
