The Lubbock City Council will meet next week to consider changing the city's run-off election.
It was scheduled to be held on June 14th, but, the city has since announced the date conflicts with a state rule which prevents local run-offs from being held within 20 days of a state run-off.
So now, the council is scheduled to consider changing the date to Saturday, June 21st. They'll take up the issue on Tuesday.
The run-off is for a City Council District Three seat. Deanne Clark and Jeff Griffith are seeking the seat being left by current councilman Todd Klein.
