Lubbock homicide investigators find woman shot to death in vehicle

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The Lubbock Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting that happened around 7:30 Monday night in north Lubbock.

Police were initially called to check on the welfare of a resident at the West Fork Mobile Home Park located in the 2800 block of North Quaker. 

Officers said when they arrived on scene, they found a woman shot to death in a vehicle.

Police have ruled the shooting as a homicide. The investigation continued into the early hours of Tuesday morning.

So far, officers have not released the name of the victim or what led to the fatal shooting. 

No arrests have been made.
