Seven Texans were among a group of freshman who endured congressional orientation in Washington, D.C. on Monday.

On Monday morning, the newly elected members of the House and Senate posed for a picture. Republican Mike Conaway of Midland was one of them. The incoming freshman, including five Texas Republicans and two Democrats, will be sworn in next year.
