Lubbock Mustang Club celebrates 50 years of Mustang

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The Lubbock Mustang Club is receiving national recognition.

The Mustang is celebrating 50 years this year and National Oil and Lube News magazine is doing a feature.

Lubbock Mustang Club members lined up their cars, featuring models from 1964 to 2014 for a cover shoot.

Jeff Krueger with the Lubbock Mustang Club said, "In our 32 years of existence I don't think we've ever got any cars together where it represents every car that's been put out, so I'm excited to be here tonight."

If you're wondering why the magazine chose Lubbock, its corporate offices are here.

The magazine is delivered to Quick Lube and Auto Centers across the U.S. and Canada.

The Mustang feature will be in their August issue.
