Very glad to see the Lubbock County D.A. took the bull by the horns and may finally stop the sale of synthetic marijuana in Lubbock.
Matt Powell sent a letter to 53 stores warning them of real consequences for anyone selling this dangerous drug.
The letter ups the ante on criminal charges to include aggravated assault, criminally negligent homicide, and even child endangerment.
It also goes on to name specific products used for synthetic pot effects and threatens jail time and major fines.
Thank you Matt Powell for enforcing and enhancing these laws to hold these businesses accountable. Great to see you recognizing that it is not just a deceptive business practice, it is a public safety issue.
