Patricia Dennis pleads not guilty to murder of ex-husband

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

51-year-old Patricia Dennis has entered a plea of not guilty after being charged with the murder of her ex-husband.

Dennis was indicted on May 27.

Authorities say Patricia shot and killed her ex-husband and attempted to kill herself in south Lubbock County back in February.

Sheriff's deputies arrived at a home in Saddle Club Estates, near Indiana and Woodrow Road back on the night of Feb. 27.

They say they found 53-year-old Tracy Don Dennis dead in the front yard with gunshot wounds.

Investigators believe she shot herself after shooting Tracy.
