Highly touted frosh ready to play for USC

With the season a few months away, the Gamecocks women's basketball recruiting class is working out and taking classes on campus preparing to begin their college careers.

The Gamecocks are looking to improve on this past season's appearance in the Sweet 16. To do that, Dawn Staley will look to her second-ranked recruiting class to helpSouth Carolina reach their goal of bringing home a national championship.

Among them are former Dreher star and ESPN's 32nd ranked recruit Kaydra Duckett, top 10 prospect Jatarie White out of Charlotte as well as the nation's top recruit and former Heathwood Hall star A'ja Wilson.

Each of the three new Gamecocks sat down with WIS Sports Director Rick Henry to talk about their preparations now that they are officially college freshmen.
