City of Wolfforth to begin testing of new outdoor emergency warning system

WOLFFORTH, TX (KCBD) -

The City of Wolfforth Office of Emergency Management will be installing new controls for their outdoor emergency warning system and will be conducting testing each siren throughout the week.

The tests will be conducted throughout the workweek between the hours of 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. and each test will be no longer than one minute.

Testing will not take place if storms are in the vicinity or threatening the South Plains.

The project will take several weeks to complete and, once completed, the city will set a routine schedule for the testing of their outdoor warning system.
