Lubbock police attempting to locate aggravated robbery suspects

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Lubbock police are attempting to locate two aggravated robbery suspects.

Police responded to a robbery at the 7-Eleven located at 2102 50th Street at 2:33 a.m. Thursday morning where police say a black male in dark clothing entered the store, threatened the clerk with a handgun and demanded items from the cash register.

They say the suspect then fled on foot before officers arrived and has not been located.

Police then responded to a robbery at the Stripes located at 6519 University Avenue at 2:41 a.m. where police say a black male in dark clothing threatened a clerk with a handgun, demanded items from the register and fled the scene before officers arrived.

The suspect has not been located.

Police say that, at this time, it is unknown if the robberies are related.
