Amber Alert issued for Texas girl believed abducted by 34-year-old man

(KLTV) - An Amber Alert has been issued for a 13-year-old south Texas girl, last seen Friday morning around 5 a.m.

According to the Department of Public Safety, Phoebe Nichole Hughes was last seen with 34-year-old Eric Castillo in Cuero, TX, which is southeast of San Antonio.

Phoebe is 5'4" and weights 150 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans. She has a scar on her left leg.

Castillo, a 5'2" man weighing 185 pounds, has red hair. He has tattoos on his ankles, back, chest, arms and legs. He is driving a 2010 black Chevrolet Camaro with Texas license plate BX8B009. The car has a Marine Corps sticker on the back window.

If you see either of these individuals, you are urged to call the DeWitt County sheriff at 361-275-5734.
