Weather Leads To Loss Of Phone Service for SBC Customers

Hundreds of Lubbock residents are without phone service and this week's rain is to blame.

SBC says water flooded a cable at 73rd and Wayne Avenue, knocking out phone service to as many as 600 customers. Crews are working to fix the problem and telephone service should be fully restored by Friday morning.
