LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Lubbock police have released the name of the man involved in Sunday night's stabbing in East Lubbock.

It happened just before 8:30 p.m. in the 3900 block of East 3rd Street.

Police say 28-year-old Kassie Gaglion and her boyfriend, 30-year-old Ryan Harrison, were at their home when Gaglion's ex-boyfriend, 28-year-old Esteban Quiroz approached the couple in their front yard.

Investigators say the two men got into an argument, during which Quiroz pulled out a knife and stabbed Harrison several times.

EMS took Harrison to UMC with serious injuries.

Gaglion suffered minor injuries during the altercation.

Quiroz fled the scene but was located and arrested a short time later.

He is facing aggravated assault charges.
