Recount confirms Jeff Griffith as winner of District 3 runoff

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The recount is complete and Jeff Griffith is the winner of the race for Lubbock City Council District 3.

He wins by just five votes over Deanne Clark.

Griffith will take office immediately.

A ceremonial swearing-in will take place on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in city council chambers.
