Teen injured in drive-by shooting near Antioch Middle School

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Police are working to track down suspects after a teenager was injured in a drive-by shooting near Antioch Middle School on Thursday.

Jerrell Bailey, 19, was shot on the 5000 block of Blue Hole Road near the school's football field.

The victim's brother says they were walking from their home to a bus stop around 1:10 p.m. when two people inside shots at them from inside a tan car.

The 22-year-old says he believes there were four black male teenagers inside the car.

Bailey was hit in the stomach and was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Emergency Communications Center at (615) 862-8600 or Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.

Blue Hole Road was closed while police investigated but has since reopened.
