Police in Springfield say they have identified the suspect in a fatal shooting from 2011.
The Springfield Police Department said they have determined that Carricus Bell-Harris, also known as "Reesy" Harris, was the shooter.
Harris died on June 27, 2013, from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, police say.
Christopher Nash was shot and killed on South Main Street on Aug. 20, 2011.
The murder case still remains open because police say there are other people out there who may have participated in or contributed to the incident leading up to the murder.
