Shallowater Fire Department finds wrecked, burning dirt bike on train tracks

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Shallowater fire officials were called to a report of a motorcycle wreck at 4:48 p.m. on Thursday.

They found a wrecked, burning dirt bike on the train tracks in the 5500 block of Highway 84.

The person riding the motorcycle had apparently left the scene before fire officials arrived.

Railroad officials and Texas DPS are investigating.
