The Texas Tech baseball program is saddened to learn of the death of former Red Raider baseball student-athlete Elliot Richoux, who passed away Friday in Montgomery Country, just over 10 miles from his hometown of The Woodlands, Texas. Richoux was 21.

“We are extremely saddened to hear this tragic news involving Elliot,” head coach Tim Tadlock said. “We want to offer our condolences to his mother, Deborah, and father, David. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this very difficult time.”

Richoux played one season with the Red Raiders in 2013 after an All-American campaign at Howard College in 2012 where he played with several Red Raider teammates and also for current Tech assistant coach/recruiting coordinator J-Bob Thomas.
