TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) - Tuscaloosa Police spokesman Sgt. Brent Blankley says that Alabama running back Kenyan Drake was arrested last night and charged with obstructing government operations.

This happened at 12:50 this morning, outside a bar on Temerson Square.

Drake was arrested at the site of an early morning officer-involved shooting, in which one person was shot after allegedly pointing a handgun at officers.

Sgt. Blankley says that although Drake was not involved in the fight or shooting that occurred there, he did cross crime scene tape to get to his car.

Blankley says he'll be releasing more information on this incident later today.
