LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

UPDATE Jan. 20, 2015: Harassment charges dismissed against Lubbock firefighter

A Lubbock firefighter remains on paid administrative leave Thursday, pending the results of a criminal investigation.

Travis Parkinson, 36, is charged with a felony charge of online impersonation and was indicted on Tuesday.

The victim in this criminal investigation spoke with KCBD on the phone. She said she had been in a relationship with Parkinson for about two years. She said after they broke up earlier this year, men she did not know started friend requesting her on Facebook.

She said she messaged a couple of those men to find out why they were friend requesting her. The men reportedly told her they saw an explicit video of her on a pornography website. They said the video had her first and last name, as well as the city where she lived.

The victim said she learned Parkinson had secretly videotaped her performing sexual acts and then posted it online after they broke up.

She said Parkinson has denied those allegations. The victim said she immediately filed a police report, which has launched this investigation.

She said she and officials have worked to remove the video from at least eight different pornographic websites.

KCBD reached out Parkinson to see if he wanted to comment, but he referred us to his attorney, who has not returned our phone call.

The Lubbock Fire Department released this statement:

"On July 8, 2014, the Lubbock County Grand returned a felony indictment against Lubbock Firefighter Travis Parkinson. Mr. Parkinson has been placed on administrative leave pending an internal investigation. Mr. Parkinson has been employed by City of Lubbock Fire Rescue since 2003."

Lubbock fire officials said the District Attorney's office is conducting their own investigation.
