LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The Red Raiders' biggest fan got his wish, or part of it, on Wednesday.

Coach Kliff Kingsbury stopped by to visit Lorenzo Chief of Police Robert Bybee on Wednesday. Unfortunately, Bybee was at a doctor's appointment and just missed him.

Kingsbury did leave an autographed football, however.

Bybee broke both arms and both legs when he was hit by a car last June. He requested red and black casts to honor his favorite team and his daughter started a Facebook campaign to get him a visit from Coach Kingsbury.
